Anyone know how to rotate the display? The screen is upside down for me.

yes you need to edit a file called config.txt , the path is /boot/config.txt

and change/add in the bottom.

display_rotate=0
display_rotate=1
display_rotate=2
display_rotate=3

0 is the normal configuration. 1 is 90 degrees. 2 is 180 degress. 3 is 270 degrees.

I read that this does not work for the RPi4.

Perhaps @0raid knows how.

yes Rpi4 has a different driver....

please try in shell the following commands and let me know if it works!

DISPLAY=:0 xrandr --output HDMI-1 --rotate normal
DISPLAY=:0 xrandr --output HDMI-1 --rotate left
DISPLAY=:0 xrandr --output HDMI-1 --rotate right
DISPLAY=:0 xrandr --output HDMI-1 --rotate inverted

may you need first to run the command: sudo bash (to get root access)

Okay, so I took out my Cinema.png file and put the original back and it displays that now, but nothing else. There are 12 files in the Tmdb folder. I must be missing something?
let me explain how IMDB/TMDB works!

everyday @ midnight MovieNow automatically download Upcoming Movies posters from IMDB/TMDB , all the posters download it in the custom folder called Tmdb , * Dont copy your posters in this folder *

so if you want to display this posters , just change the view (custom) and in posters settings select the Tmdb directory....dont forget to refresh Poster (display tab)

There seems to be a problem with the Pi4 install. I get the posters on the far left side of the screen and they don't seem to fill the screen either (top to bottom). When I swapped the SD card back to the Pi3 it works perfectly again.

I have the same issue with my 4K TV and Georgios has fixed it now in opine of his replies.

It’s awesome now. I have replaced the bottom banner with my own and linked my posters to kodi

It such a great app. Thanks Georgios

Gotcha, thanks for that, so what does this link do then? http://movienow.local/settings/display.php?VIEW3

Mine goes to the Theater screen (Cinema.png) and sits there.
